Follow these steps to edit any text in your funnel widget.
1. Navigate to the Preview Step
Go to the Funnel editor (Preview step). You can reach this from funnel setup or by clicking "Customize" from the main funnels table and clicking NEXT to this step.
2. Select the Text to Edit
To edit any text element in the widget:
Hover over the text in the preview you want to change
Click directly on the text, or
If a "Click here to edit" prompt appears, click on that instead
3. Make Your Changes
Once you've clicked on a text element, you can:
Type your new text directly
Modify the existing content
Translate the text to a different language
💡 Translation Tip: This editing feature is particularly convenient for translating your widget text to different languages, making your funnel accessible to international customers.
4. Save Your Changes
⚠️ Important: After making any text changes, you must click the Save button that appears next to the modified text. Your changes will not be preserved unless you save them.
Tips for Success
Preview as you go: The Preview step shows how your changes will appear, but always check your live store for the final result
Check your live store: There may be slight differences between the dashboard preview and how the widget appears in your actual store
Don't forget to save: Always click Save after each text modification
Test different languages: Use this feature to create multilingual versions of your funnel
Keep it concise: Shorter text generally works better for mobile users
